Shipping, Handling and Return Policies

Shipping Provider

www.LenkArt.com uses Canada Post, an established and reliable shipping provider.

Shipping Address

Your order will be shipped to the specified shipping address. We cannot deliver to P.O. Box locations.

Shipping Time

Shipping time varies depending on shipping address:

for Ottawa, Ontario area - up to 2 business days;
for the province of Ontario outside of Ottawa area - 3-5 business days;
for Canada - 4-9 business days;
for international addresses - up to 21 business day.

A business day is considered to be Monday through Friday, not including holidays.
You will receive the confirmation of your order shipment date. You will be notified promptly of any possible delays in shipping.

For all the products made to order, please allow 3-6 weeks for production time. If you need the item sooner, please contact our Customer Service by e-mail at info@lenkart.com for priority shipping and handling.

Shipping Insurance

Loss or damage of a parcel up to CAD$100.00 worth of products is included in the cost of shipping and handling and insured by Canada Post.
 
Any package containing over CAD$100.00 worth of products will be insured at CAD$0.80 per each CAD$100.00 exceeding first CAD$100.00 by www.LenkArt.com and covered by Canada Post.

Taxes

Sales tax collection depends on your shipping address:

for the province of Ontario - Provincial Sales Tax (PST) 8% and Federal Goods and Services Tax (GST) 6%;
for the provinces of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Newfoundland - HST 14%;
for the rest of Canada - GST 6%;
for the U.S.A. - no sales tax applied.

International orders may be subject to customs fees, duties, import taxes or other fees imposed by your government. www.LenkArt.com does not charge these fees and has no control over the amount of the fees. All those fees are customer's responsibility, and are not included in the shipping charges. Please contact your customs office for information about additional fees.

Damaged Goods Replacements

All packages shipped by www.LenkArt.com regardless of the shipping method do require a signature. Signatures cannot be waived. Your signature proves proper delivery and helps provide better service.

We inspect each item thoroughly before shipping.

Please inspect your purchase immediately upon receipt. If there is any damage, contact both the carrier and our Customer Service within 24 hours to report the damage and arrange for a replacement.  Keep all of the original packing materials. They will be required for inspection by the shipping company. Contact the shipper and follow their instructions to initiate a claim.

www.LenkArt.com will pay the return shipping fee for products that are received damaged.               
www.LenkArt.com reserves the right to refuse returns on damaged goods if the original packing material has been discarded.

Shipping of Incorrect Merchandise

Please inspect your purchase immediately upon receipt. If you have received incorrect merchandise, please contact our Customer Service by e-mail at info@lenkart.com within 2 business days to arrange for a replacement. Keep all of the original packing materials.

www.LenkArt.com is responsible for the shipping and replacement costs in case of the processing error on www.LenkArt.com side.
 

Return and Exchange of Ready Made Items

If you are not satisfied with your purchase of ready made item, please return it, and www.LenkArt.com will refund your money (excluding shipping and handling fees).

No refunds can be granted over the phone. Returns cannot be accepted beyond 20 days from the original shipping date. Products eligible for return must be new, unused, unaltered and contain all original product packaging and all original tags still attached.  Products not in original condition will not be accepted for return. Products must be repackaged properly in the original packaging. Any item(s) not in original condition, or any item(s) that has (have) been damaged upon return to www.LenkArt.com, will not be refunded. This includes any pet and smoke odors, stains or signs of use.

Contact Customer Service by e-mail at info@lenkart.com for a Return Authorization Number (RAN) prior to returning the product. This number is necessary to ensure proper tracking and handling of returned goods. Products will not be accepted without a Return Authorization Number.

Include the following information in your email for Return Authorization Number:

Your Name
Invoice #
Shipping address
Date of purchase
Item number(s) to be returned with quantity of each item purchased
A brief explanation for return

After receipt of your claim www.LenkArt.com will e-mail you a Return Authorization Number (RAN) to accompany your returned item(s). No refunds can be made without a Return Authorization Number. RAN is valid for 20 business days. www.LenkArt.com reserves the right to refuse shipments that do not have a valid RAN. Refused shipments will be returned to the shipper on freight collect basis. Please reference your RAN while inquiring about return status.

Indicate RAN on the packing slip and include your packing slip and a copy of the original billing with your return. Write RAN on a blank piece of paper and securely tape it to the outside of the package to be returned.

Returns must be shipped prepaid and insured directly to www.LenkArt.com. All shipping fees and/or costs are non-refundable. www.LenkArt.com will not be responsible for the loss or damage of any returned merchandise that has not been insured. We cannot accept returns sent C.O.D. Please note you are responsible for the safe return of your merchandise to www.LenkArt.com.

Credit card refunds will be posted only to the same credit card used in original purchase.

For international returns: please clearly mark you package with the words "Canadian Goods Being Returned" to ensure that no duty charges are applied. If returning an order from within the United States please use US Postal Service (USPS), Economy Service for the lowest rates.  Please do not ship with FedEx or UPS as this will result in unnecessary brokerage charges that will be deducted from your refund amount.

Non-refundable Merchandise

www.LenkArt.com cannot accept returns on any items labeled as Made to Order, Sale, Clearance, Cut to Order (decorative trimmings, fabrics, etc.), Down and Feather, Polyester and Wool Pillow Inserts. All sales of these products are final, on "as is" basis.

Change of Shipping and Handling Policies

Please note the shipping and handling policies are subject to change. Any changes to the policies will be posted on this page. Policy changes will apply to the orders made after the date of the change. This policy was last modified on February 16, 2007.
